Each pack is a complete lesson. It has objectives, a short story from our build, a diagram, a simulation, a worked example, marked questions, a printable worksheet and a separate answer key. This page shows where each pack fits and how we would run it.
Every pack has the same shape, so once you have run one you can run them all. The timings in each lesson plan add up to the period length on the pack.
Open the pack on the classroom screen. The sections are numbered 01 to 07 in the order we would teach them. Put the simulation on the board and let students call out what to change before you change it.
Press Print PDF on any pack. Only the cream worksheet prints. It is one or two A4 pages with write-on lines, a formula bank and marks in brackets. Choose Save as PDF in the print dialog if you want to set it online.
Switch on Teacher mode below or on any pack. Answers appear under each question on screen, and a green answer-key sheet is added when you print. Turn it off before you put the pack back on the projector.

Grade bands are a guide. Chapter names are from the NCERT and Cambridge IGCSE syllabi. The same ideas map onto ICSE, IB and most national curricula.

A good order for a five-lesson unit is 02, 05, 03, 01, then 07. Pack 04 works as a numeracy starter anywhere. Pack 06 stands on its own in chemistry.
Every simulator has a setting students think matters more than it does (the bearings on the race bench, or area against Cd in the drag pack) and one they underestimate (mass, or the foam thickness at the stop). Get the class to predict first, then run it. The gap between the guess and the result is where the learning happens.
Every calculation in the packs is marked in three lines: the formula, the numbers put in, and the answer with a unit. If students keep to that, unit mistakes show themselves. NM-LAB-04 exists to build the habit.
Race times, drag coefficients and bearing torques are the right size for a STEM Racing car, but they are not official test data. Where a pack quotes a real Nightmare measurement, it says so. Students should not cite the packs as a data source in a project.
Boca Bearings is named in NM-LAB-01 because the hybrid ceramic bearings on our car are theirs. SimScale is named in NM-LAB-03 because our Cd values come from their CFD. There is no advertising on the worksheets, only credit where it is due.
A charged CO₂ cartridge is a pressurised container. Never open, heat or puncture one in class. A fired, empty cartridge is safe to pass round and makes a great starter.
No. Every pack runs from the web page and the printed sheet. Where a real object helps, like a wheel for the spin-down test or a fired cartridge, the pack says so, and it still works without it.
Yes. The physics, chemistry and maths are the same everywhere. The curriculum map gives NCERT and Cambridge IGCSE chapters, and the same ideas sit in IB, ICSE and most national syllabi.
Each pack has a QR code and a copy-link button in the sidebar. Students open the same page on a phone, and the simulations work with touch. Teacher mode is off by default, so the answers stay hidden.
That is on purpose. Printing drops the navigation, the simulation and the sidebar so you get a clean one- or two-page sheet. With teacher mode on, the answer key prints as an extra page.
It counts prints and saves on the device you are using. We show it so you can see how it works. Our season totals come from the site analytics, not from this number.
